Internship Mentoring
The first stop when students are considering summer internships within their field of interest, should be with the ES Coordinator, Lia Morris.  Lia is available for appointments to advise on resume building, selecting an internship that meshes with academic interests, help in connecting with various environmental agencies, amongst other non-academic advising.  You can find Lia in Diamond 208 or at lmmorris@colby.edu

The Environmental Studies Program has various endowed funds to support  several environmental internships

The amount of money available for each stipend will depend on the nature of the internship, the anticipated budget and financial needs of the applicant, and the availability of other resources including the employer's ability to provide partial compensation. Applications should be submitted to the Environmental Studies Coordinator: Lia Morris, 208 Diamond, lmmorris@colby.edu.  Applications for Summer 2013 are due Friday, April 12.  The summer application deadline will be announced at a later time.  For more information on application process and requirements see Application Process and Requirements for ES Internship Stipends
