Graduates

Aaron Bradford:

Aaron BradfordAaron ('07) is a Chemistry: Cell/Molecular/Biochem Concentration Major, but has definitely enjoyed his minor in STS. Aaron firmly believes that STS will help him in his goals of being a researcher. He has enjoyed classes such as like Biomedical and Environmental Ethics, as well as being able to pursue research interests like the political nature of video games in today's society. Aaron has been on Colby Woodsmen, Colby Emergency Response and most days he can be found in various science labs or backstage at Runnals theater. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys relaxing in his apartment with his wife, their beagle and cat, a good book or a good video game. Aaron is currently bewildered by the US legislature's attempts to systematically dismantle the ESRB, the video game industry's self-regulating body. Top

Thomas Reznick (Tom):

Tom ReznickTom Reznick ('07) is from Chappaqua, NY. Tom enjoys singing, reading, writing, camping, skiing, road-biking, and homebrewing. Tom is a member of Colby Emergency Response and has been active in many political organizations. He is currently researching the social impacts of late 19th century scientific and technological changes to the Maine potato industry in Aroostook County as a Senior Scholars thesis. Additionally, Tom is also examining the moral economy of 20th century agriculture and the values engendered by modern agricultural technology for his senior seminar class. He is an STS major and a chemistry minor. Top

Thomas Testo (Tom):

Tom TestoTom Testo (’07) is an STS major from Troy, NY. When Tom isn’t entranced by his STS studies, his hobbies include auto maintenance, snowboarding, guitar, and student government. Tom also has a passion for motorsports, and is an avid Formula One fan. Tom loves the interdisciplinary nature of the STS program, and is grateful for the opportunity to research the political and economic influence of Grand Prix racing in Europe in ST485. Top
