Colby’s premier theater and dance venue since 1976, Strider Theater is a proscenium-style theater that seats 262. It is the main performance space in the Runnals Building. Strider Theater is used for student theater and dance rehearsals and performances as well as professional touring companies’ performances that are part of the Theater and Dance at Colby series. Completed in 1976, the theater is named for Colby’s 16th president, Robert E.L. Stider II, and his wife, Helen. 
Directions:
Follow directions to Colby’s campus. As you come onto campus on Mayflower Hill Drive, Runnals is on the left, at the head of the first quadrangle of buildings formed by Foss-Woodman and Mary Low-Coburn. To drop off passengers, turn left onto Runnals Drive after passing the President’s House.
Parking Information:
Parking is in the Mary Low lot, on the right as you enter the campus.
