Concert: Hikari Trio

In this first concert of the 2013-14 Music at Colby series, musicians Jennifer Elowitch, Yuri Funahashi, and Elizabeth Anderson will perform the work of censored composers Dmitri Shostakovich, Bright Sheng, and Fanny Mendelssohn. Associate Professor of Music Natalie Zelensky will introduce each work and speak about the forms of censorship each composer faced.
