| Advanced Chinese language with a focus on current affairs, and topical social issues in contemporary China. We will use multi-media materials ranging from the internet, TV, and films to traditional textbook. Issues covered will include: China's market reform, changing family patterns, public health, cinema, and education. Students will be immersed in a Chinese language environment, and should be prepared to discuss these various issues in Chinese. |
