The Evening Sandwich Program (ESP) has been serving the greater Waterville community since 1990 with a free no-questions-asked meal. Meals consist of a hot soup, sandwich, fruit, and dessert. The program is open Tuesday through Friday from 4 PM to 5 PM. Colby volunteers prepare and distribute meals. Duties may include cooking, washing dishes, making sandwiches, sweeping and washing floors, taking out the trash, and serving the public. On average, the program serves 100 meals every evening.
