Paw Pals

Paw Pals

Program Description Paw Pals is the Colby branch of the Waterville Humane Society's volunteer program.  Students go to the Humane Society and play with the animals once a week for about an hour.  This interaction helps socialize the animals, thereby making them more adoptable.  Paw Pals also organizes campus events to promote animal welfare.  Volunteers must attend an orientation meeting held by the Humane Society and sign a volunteer contract.
Scheduling Monday - Saturday, times are flexible; In order to attend the training session, volunteers must commit to visit the Humane Society at least once every two weeks.
Program Leaders Si Rioux '10 and  Juliette Gorson '11
