Jenny is a sophomore at Colby and has been writing stories ever since she could hold a pencil. Stashed away in the abyss of her closet are paper bags full of stories about boarding school girls, orphans sent to battle mythological creatures, and bratty younger brothers.
As a high school senior she started a nonprofit children's magazine that uses comics to teach kids about social issues and now circulates all across Maryland. The magazine has been recognized with awards and grants from Youth Venture, The Best Buy @15 Foundation, and The Disney Minnie Grant Foundation.
Jenny is pursuing a career in journalism so that she can help give a voice to those whose stories remain untold.
When she is not working, she enjoys reading, running, and playing the violin.
