Climate Justice

 JOIN COLBY STUDENTS FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE, UNDER THE INSPIRING INFLUENCE OF JOURNALIST/ACTIVIST AFSAN CHOWDHURY TO:

• DEMAND exchange of low-carbon technologies to the developing world 
• DEMAND that Americans change their own lifestyles: reduce consumption, demand better public transport, recycle effectively
• DEMAND that climate change is framed as a social & economic problem
  

We will walk from Colby College to the REM Center in Waterville, Maine to get the message OUT.  Following the march, we will congregate indoors for a screening of Afsan's film and an opportunity to discuss and learn about issues of climate justice in Maine and worldwide.  We encourage local environmental NGOs to share their work.
