Jan Plan: Non-Credit Courses

 
in the smithyPerennially popular Jan Plan courses that don't earn credit hours but fulfill the January Program requirement include Emergency Medical Technician Training, Furniture Making, and Blacksmithing. Students who successfully complete the EMT course can be licensed at the basic EMT level and may join Colby Emergency Response as on-campus first-responders. Furniture Making and Blacksmithing classes are held in state-of-the-art facilities at the Colby-Hume Center, and admission is competitive.
