The Library purchases and licenses materials in a variety of formats to support all areas of the curriculum as well as the general information needs of the Colby Community. Each academic department and program has a Faculty and a Librarian Liaison who work together to select library materials to support its programs.  

Please check the online catalog first to see if your selections are already in our collection.

• The Library encourages faculty, students, and staff members to use the following forms to suggest the purchase of library materials.
  
• New material that you suggest will be ordered as soon as possible after approval by the Library Liaisons who review all purchase suggestions before orders are placed.
• Suggestions for additional journals or newspapers are welcome and are reviewed by the librarians on an annual basis.
