| Tours and Visits |
|
The library welcomes many visitors each year and its resources are generally available to adult individuals who wish to use them on the premises. Teachers from local schools who wish to bring their students to the library for tours and instructional sessions should work through their school librarian who can provide instruction in basic bibliographic skills and help them use the resources already available in their school library. The librarian or the teacher should then call the Reference Office (x5144) to schedule the tour at a mutually convenient time. Tours or instruction sessions will not be scheduled during exam periods. Teachers from high schools or other academic institutions should not make assignments on the expectation their students will be able to fulfill them at Colby unless they arrange for training ahead of time. |
