- Inter-Play: an On-line Index to Plays in Collections, Anthologies, And Periodicals. -- This online database, created by the PSU Humanities Librarians, contains more than 18,000 entries for plays. It is easily searchable by author and/or title and it cites the PSU Library of Congress call numbers of sources for the texts of plays. Inter-Play is regularly updated.

- Academic Search Premier ASP. [Licensed to Colby users only.] Search for reviews since 1980 by author's name or title and the word "Review". e.g. "mamet and review".
- Contemporary Literary Criticism. Part of the suite of Gale Literary Databases. Excerpts to scholarly literary criticism and play reviews from journals and major newspapers.
- Lexis Nexis Academic. Use this to find full-text newspaper and magazine reviews from all major US newspapers, as well as some international newspapers and popular entertainment magazines, e.g Variety. 20 year backfile only.
- Proquest Newspapers. [Licensed to Colby Users only.] Locate theater reviews in the digitized full text of all major U.S. Newspapers. Full text of the Historical New York Times, as well as all major newspapers from the 1980s to the present. Use the Advanced Search tab, search for author's name and "Theater Review" as a Document Type.

The year's plays are listed under "Drama", but the main entry with the citations to all the reviews is under the name of the author.

Dance Links also points to resources related to dance companies, performance listings, publications, organizations, funding, dance schools, dancers, and other dance indexes.

However, dance fans of all stripes may find the engine a useful way to discover individual dancers, performances, and other related information.
- Voice of Dance: Where Dance Lives This site provides dance lovers with a broad range of movement- and dance-related materials. The primary sections of the site are insights (including reviews and images), community (chats, etc. and a great list of links to other dance-related sites), calendar (upcoming events and ticket purchasing), the latest (current news and events), and store (books and tickets).
