Sociological Abstracts abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Records added after 1974 contain in-depth and non-evaluative abstracts of journal articles.

Under its earlier title, Editorial Research Reports (REF H 35 .E35), it covers from 1967 through1990. This material is also available at the Congressional Quarterly Electronic Library website.

- Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research
ICPSR is the world's largest collection of datasets for research in the social sciences. The data holdings cover a broad range of disciplines, including political science, sociology, demography, economics, history, education, gerontology, criminal justice, public health, foreign policy, and law. Colby students, faculty, and staff may download the data sets for research purposes.
