About ColbyAcademicsAdministrationAdmissionsAlumniAthleticsCampus LifeNews and Events
Welcome to Off-Campus Study at Colby.  The Office of Off-Campus Study is responsible for the administration of study away from the Colby campus, except for transfer credit from accredited US institutions. The office manages Colby’s own programs abroad and approves other programs, both foreign and domestic, for Colby credit. It is responsible for helping students make appropriate study plans, preparing students for departure, and evaluating programs abroad.  We look forward to assisting you with your off-campus study plans.

Class of 2009

Congratulations Colby Class of 2009!

Best wishes from Off-Campus Study

Class of 2010

Dear Returning Study Abroad Students:

Welcome back from off-campus study!

We can't wait to hear about your experiences this past semester (really)! While these experiences are still fresh in your mind, and you have some free time, please share your thoughts with us and future students by completing the online evaluation (you must be logged in under your name on the Colby website).

Remember that, in order for your OCS transcript to appear on your Colby
transcript you will need to have completed this online evaluation.

If you participated in an SIT program you must have your Independent Study Project (ISP) read and approved by a Colby Faculty member and have them email me at jmonet@colby.edu to indicate that they have read it and it is acceptable for Colby credit.

You may also want to contact your program to verify that your transcript will be sent to Colby's OCS office.

OCS has available a fascinating video entitled "Journeying Home" developed by CET Academic Programs and Cultural Animal Productions, which deals specifically with re-entry issues and reverse culture shock. We would love to hear about your experiences and see your photos.

Stop by!
