How to Participate in Colby's Recruiting Program
Colby offers several ways to identify prospective employees for full-time work, internships, and summer jobs.  Our Recruiting Coordinator can help you select the best way to connect with our students.  Suggestions they will have for you may include the following:

Colby Connect
Colby Connect is our system which allows you to enter jobs, review students' resumes, and even schedule interviews online.  Contact career@colby.edu for information about how to access the Colby Connect system.

On Campus Interviews
We will be happy to schedule your visit to campus and will accommodate requests for either an open schedule or one that will allow you to screen resumes in advance.  See information below about combining your trip to Colby with visits to Bowdoin and/or Bates Colleges.

On Campus Information Sessions
Information sessions can be scheduled anytime during the year or the evening before you interview.  These meetings provide an informal, yet productive, way to education students about your organization.

Consortia Programs
Colby participates in recruiting consortia in New York City and Boston that allow you to interview Colby students along with those from more than 20 other colleges and universities.  Contact us for more information about these programs.

Job Postings
Your job or internship descriptions may be entered online, mailed, faxed, called in, or emailed directly (our recommendation) to our office at career@colby.edu. We will publicize all listings on eRecruiting as well as mention them in weekly email messages to students.  We can collect resumes for you from students or direct students to send resumes to you for review.

Joint Colby/Bates/Bowdoin Recruiting
You may wish to consolidate your recruiting trips to Maine and meet with students from Colby, Bowdoin, and/or Bates colleges at a single site, or on back-to-back visits.  We are happy to help you work out the details for your trip.  Further information about our joint recruiting opportunities is available at http://www.bates.edu/admin/offices/career/bbc/index.html

Liberal Arts Career NetWORK

Provides a job and internship listing service that gives you the opportunity to reach over 60,000 at 28 highly selective, small, private liberal arts colleges with just one posting, for free!   www.lacnjobs.org

Whether you choose to come to Colby, recruit in a central location, conduct in-house interviews, or share job openings with us, we believe you will become acquainted with a large group of qualified applicants in a variety of fields.  Contact our Recruiting Coordinator at 207-859-4140 or career@colby.edu for further information about any of these options.
