Class of 2016 OrientationWe are looking forward to the arrival of the Class of 2016 in August!! The Class of 2016 and their families can starting checking in to campus on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 for our Arrival Day program and Fall Orientation. Check-in begins promptly at 8:00 am in Pulver Pavilion. Parents and family members are invited to participate in the introductory information sessions scheduled during the day, as well as the formal Welcome Session and Reception with President Adams. Programming for families concludes by 4:15 pm which marks the official start to the Class of 2016 Orientation program. We will have the full Orientation schedule posted mid-July. There are a few events and dates that we can share now. Wednesday, August 29th will be "First Class", which will be your first opportunity to interact with Colby faculty in the classroom. Thursday, August 30th will be "C2IT", which is your first opportunity to give back to the Waterville and surrounding communities through service learning projects. Friday, August 31st will be COOT departures, you will be out on your COOT until Sunday!! Be prepared for a great time on your COOT! (Incoming International students who are on F-1 students visas need to arrive earlier than the rest of the incoming class. Your arrival dates are August 24, 25, or 26 for a mandatory International orientation. You will receive more information over the summer from Dean Sue McDougal.)
