The Colby Student Investment Association is a student-managed, student-run fund at Colby College. Founded in 2007, the CSIA relies on the in-house research and talent of Colby students to beat the indices. The CSIA functions under three divisions, Trading, Strategy, and Portfolio Management, and the club strives to educate Colby students interested in finance and to strengthen the network between Colby students and alums in the financial world. Recently, the club has completed working on a mutual fund portfolio strategic plan. With continuous updates and modification, working on this fund gives member hands-on experience of money management and asset allocation. Since its founding, the CSIA boasts membership of over 150 students.
