Colby's plan for residential life, Colby 360, is built upon the idea that a residential college affords students opportunities to learn and develop in the many facets that define their college lives.
The plan is driven by five learning outcomes:
Residence HallsWith the exception of the Alfond Apartments, all residence halls are coed and populated by a mixture of students from all four classes. Along with a diverse student population, the residence halls offer a variety of options in both style and location, along with special interest housing (substance free, quiet housing, etc.), and opportunities for students with a shared academic interest to incorporate it in a residence hall. Most of Colby’s residence halls and all dining halls have been renovated in recent years.
