Catholic Campus Ministry

The Catholic Campus Ministry seeks to serve the needs of the Catholic population at Colby; students, faculty, and staff alike. Prayer, worship, learning, and service to others are the main components of Catholic Campus Ministry.

Mass is celebrated on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. and on holy days at 4:30 p.m. in Lorimer Chapel.

The Catholic Campus Ministry and Newman Club (the student-led Catholic club) host activities such as discussions, Scripture study, overnight retreats, prayer services, and fund raisers for the Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter, providing a variety of ways for students to grow in their faith. Social and recreational activities, as well as multi-faith activity and cooperation round out the program.  For additional information on the Catholic Campus Ministry, connect with Newman Council on Facebook, or visit, Corpus Christi, the local Parish.
