Office of Communications

Colby's Office of Communications oversees strategic external communications and integrated marketing for the College. The staff is responsible for major sectors of Colby's Web site and for Colby magazine, the Colby College Catalogue, other official publications, media relations and public information, and design services for client departments.

The Office of Communications staff works closely with a team of students to produce insideColby, which includes insideColby.com, insideColby magazine, and online multimedia content including The Student Lens photo gallery, videos, podcasts, and student blogs.

Communications works to maintain consistency in the College's graphic identity and marketing efforts, and it maintains an archive of photography for use in official communications. The office manages the annual Lovejoy Award, presented annually for courage in journalism.
