New to the outdoors in winter? The Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Sampler is meant to introduce participants to two of Maine's classic winter adventures.

Additionally, participants will learn the fundamentals of outdoor winter travel, how to prepare nutritious meals on a one-burner camp stove and how to practice Leave No Trace techniques.

No previous experience is necessary.
