Colby Financial Aid Renewal Applications for the 2013-14 school year were e-mailed to students in March at their Colby e-mail account. Parents were copied if the student had previously granted financial permissions and supplied the parent e-mail address(es). The deadline to submit the application is April 15, 2013; applications will be reviewed in the order in which they become complete. There will be a $500 grant reduction for late applications. The Renewal Application and additional information can be found under the 'Finances' tab of the student's myColby portal by clicking on 'Applying for Aid (Enrolled Students)' on the left- hand side. Parents with permission can also find the link after logging into the parent portal. Students should check their 'Aid Application Status' regularly under the 'Finances' tab of their portal to confirm documents received or missing. If the application and all required documents are submitted by the April 15th deadline, the student should hear from our office by June 30, 2013. They will receive an e-mail message with instructions on how to view the 'Aid Application Results' under the 'Finances' tab of the student's portal.
