CER offers members State-EMS Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which count towards maintaining current state and National Registry certifications. CEU lectures and skill sessions on a variety of topics, taught by state-instructors from Delta Ambulance and/or Kennebec Valley Technical College, are offered on campus each month. Furthermore, all CER members may attend CEUs in surrounding townships free of charge. Other training opportunities are available through CER/Colby, including: mock calls, guest lecturers, and training simulations. Members are always available to do practice skills sessions, study reviews or discussions. CER also offers weekend courses on campus such as PHTLS that are free for members.
