The Rehabilitative Services and Sports Medicine Department is an integral part of the Colby Health Services. Rehabilitative services are available on an appointment basis, for no Fee, at the Health Center in the morning Monday-Friday. Afternoon appointments are available on a limited basis at the Nelson Center in the athletic complex. Referral by a Practitioner is needed for rehabilitative services for non-varsity athletes.
A wide range of rehabilitative services are available at either site. These may include ultrasound, electrical stimulation, moist heat packs, hot and cold whirlpools (only at the Nelson Center), cryocuffs, and various exercise devices (for example, cycle, elliptical, ergometers and cuff weights), UBE, and Theraballs.
The Rehabilitative Services and Sports Medicine staff has a variety of experience and backgrounds. This includes working with professional baseball athletes, and Division I NCAA champions. The staff looks forward to working with you to keep you safe and active.
