Biology - Visiting Assistant Professor, Plant Science and Genetics

COLBY COLLEGE is seeking a plant biologist with expertise in genetics to fill a one-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2010. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in the biological sciences with broad training in plant biology and genetics.Teaching assignments will include genetics with laboratory, a plant biology course with laboratory, and an advanced lecture course in the candidate’s area of expertise. Familiarity with liberal arts colleges, teaching experience, and post-doctoral experience are desirable.
