Part-time academic-year position
 24 hours per week mid-August to mid-June
 

The primary duty for the successful applicant will be as CCAK Coordinator. The CCAK Coordinator has primary responsibility for coordination of the nationally recognized college/community-mentoring program, "Colby Cares About Kids" (CCAK). In addition, the Coordinator will provide logistical help to Goldfarb Center staff as the year’s other programs are organized and implemented. Approximately two-thirds of the time will be spent as CCAK Coordinator and the remainder working on the Goldfarb Center programs. The Coordinator reports to the director of the Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement through the two assistant directors. This is a grant funded, continuing, part-time academic year position.

Qualifications include: post secondary education is required; knowledge of the Waterville area and experience working with college students and community organizations; must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills as well as proficient computer skills; a strong commitment to education in a small liberal arts college is necessary.
