Classics - Tenure-track Assistant Professor (Generalist)

Colby College is a private, highly selective liberal arts college. We have a vibrant, growing department with about 30-40 majors. Our student majors can focus on Language & Literature or on Classical Civilization.

The Department of Classics at Colby College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin on September 1, 2013. The Department seeks a generalist who can teach courses in the ancient languages, archaeology, and either rhetoric or reception (or both), one of which will be taught as a writing-intensive class.
