French and Italian - One Year, Faculty Fellow in French

Colby College is seeking a Faculty
Fellow in French with expertise in Early Modern France for a one-year
sabbatical replacement to begin September 1, 2010. Native or near-native
abilities in French and English, an excellent teaching record, and promising scholarship
in the specialist field. A commitment to integrate French and Francophone
Studies at all levels of the curriculum required. For this position, in which
the successful candidate will be part of an energetic department committed to
providing the best possible instruction to undergraduates, we are particularly
interested in individuals with experience teaching French language at all
levels. Teaching load is four courses, including language, literature and
culture courses at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
