HEAD SOFTBALL COACH 

The Colby College Department of Athletics seeks a head coach of softball beginning August 1, 2009.This is a part-time position with health and retirement benefits. The head coach is responsible for the direction, instruction, supervision, and coaching of the softball team. Responsibilities also include the overall administration of the program including budget, scheduling, and the recruitment of student-athletes. 
Colby is a highly selective private liberal arts college of 1800 students located in central Maine.The college is an NCAA Division III institution and is a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). 

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. The candidate should have successful experience as a head coach or substantial experience as an assistant coach. Previous coaching and recruiting experience at the NCAA Division III level is desirable.
