We are pleased announce a new and exciting
program from Cigna for parents with children who have a Pervasive-Developmental
Disorder.
The Autism team will begin offering a Parent Autism
Education series in September. This series will be a
once-monthly telephone seminar for parents and families interested in learning
more about autism and the PDD spectrum.
The seminars are free, and there is no
registration required. They are open to any parent or caregiver
interested in learning more about Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Seminars will be given by health advocates from the CIGNA Autism team.
The first session, entitled "The PDD spectrum: What are Autism and Asperger's Syndrome?", is on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
