Wellness Working Group
Colby Wellness Logo

The Wellness Working Group (WWG) is charged with helping to connect Colby faculty and staff with College and community wellness opportunities and programs and raise awareness of wellness among College employees. The group currently has three major activities per year:

  • The Activity Fair, usually in January, which focuses primarily on on-campus wellness and fitness resources.
  • The Health Fair, held in May, which focuses on health care, internal and external health and wellness resources, biometric screening, and more.
  • A series of wellness related classes and lectures, such as nutrition seminars and JanPlan healthy cooking classes with Sodexo.

In addition to these activities, the membership of the committee, drawn from a wide cross-section of Colby employees as well as representative(s) from CIGNA Insurance, passes along information on fitness and wellness opportunities to the entire campus.
