Lovejoy 400 Lab
Public Computer Labs:
 
Lab Use Policies

• Access is restricted to current Colby students, faculty and staff.
• Any unauthorized users will be asked to leave.
• Faculty and staff children who are minors may not use any network software in the labs unless they are supervised by an adult. ITS staff and student workers will not provide this supervision. If the minor does not have permission or is using network software, they will be asked to leave.
• Colby students have priority in the labs.
• No pets, food, or drinks are allowed in the labs.

• Between Semesters and during Spring Break Lovejoy 400 Computer Lab hours will be 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. (Closed Weekends and Holidays). Street of Miller Library Lab and Olin 323 will be the same as the building hours.

  • Open 24 hours while classes are in session.  Hours vary during breaks and between semesters.

OS X -- Acrobat Reader, BBEdit , Endnote,  Firefox, iMovie, iTunes, iWeb, Mircrosoft Office, Quicktime, Safari, and SPSS.

(Scanner) with above software and Photoshop and Omni Page Pro

Computer #16 -- Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and all the applications on the Above OSX computer.

Windows 7-- Acrobat Reader, Endnote,  Microsoft Office, Firefox, SPSS

(Scanner) with above software and Photoshop and Omni Page Pro

Computers #8 -- Adobe Web Premium, Adobe Contribute, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, NJStar Chinese, NJStar Japanese and all the above software on the Windows 7 computer.

 
Miller Street 016 Computer Lab
  • Will be open the same hours as the building.

Other Facilities

There are other computer labs on campus with specialized software such as the Language Resurce Center in Lovejoy 404 and the Davis Classroom on the first floor of Miller Library.
