Colby Apps E-mail Limits

As with our previous e-mail system, the new Colby Apps powered by Google has limits when it comes to some aspects of e-mail.  Below are some of the limits that are in place:

- You may not exceed 2,000 external recipients (non-colby.edu addresses in To:, CC:, or BCC:) in a 24 hour period.

- If you are using an e-mail client (Outlook or Entourage) you may not exceed 100 recipients per e-mail.

- If you are using the Colby Apps webmail interface (email.colby.edu) you may not exceed 500 recipients per e-mail.

- The total size of all attachments in one e-mail may not exceed 10mb.

Note: if you need to send files over 10mb, you can use the Colby Dropbox service by logging into http://www.colby.edu/dropbox
