Connecting to the Colby Network - OSX

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to your computer. Plug the other end into the blue jack in the communications box in your room. (An Ethernet jack looks like an extra-wide phone jack)
  2. Turn on your computer
  3. Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences
  4. Click Network
  5. Double click "Built-in Ethernet"

Network settings

  1. Click the TCP/IP tab
  2. Configure IPv4: Select Using DHCP from the drop down menu
  3. IP Address should now be 137.146.xxx.xxx
  4. Click Apply Now
