What browsers can I use?
Mirapoint supports the following browsers:

  • Netscape v. 7.1 and up
  • Internet Explorer v. 6.0 and up
  • Firefox v. 1.0 and up
  • Safari v. 1.2 and up

What operating systems are supported?
The following three operating systems are supported.

  • Windows XP
  • Windows 2000
  • Apple Mac OS X

Will the alternate email account I have set up carry over to my Mirapoint account?
Yes, if you have set up your alternate email account your email will continue to be delivered to that account.

 
Does my email account have a storage quota?

Yes!  All users have up to 1GB of storage for all mail.  This includes the mail in your Inbox, and ALL folders, including the Trash and Junk Mail folders.  For that reason, it is a good idea to periodically empty those two folders.

In the center of the blue header bar of any mailbox, is a quota status bar, showing you what percentage of your storage you have used:

As you approach the quota, you will get messages saying that you are getting close to the quota.  You will need to make space available by moving mail that is no longer needed (especially in your Spam or Junk Mail folders) to the Trash and then being sure to Empty the Trash. 

WARNING:  If you go over the 1GB storage quota, any incoming mail will be rejected and senders will be notified that their messages have bounced!


Will my mail from the old system be brought over to the new system?
Any email, filters or contacts that you have saved on the mail server will be migrated over during the summer.  Any email that you have on your POP client workstation will not.
