 How to Sync Colby Apps Email, Contacts, and Calendars on an iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch

*Note that implementing your Colby E-mail on your iOS device will require you to enter a passcode to unlock it. It is a function of Microsoft Exchange.

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars

2. Click Add Account...

3. Click Microsoft Exchange

4. Enter your information in these fields

 Email: Colby e-mail address
 Domain: leave blank
 Username: Colby e-mail address (including "@colby.edu")
 Password: email password
 Desciption: Colby Apps E-mail
 
5. Click Next

6. Click Continue at the "Cannot Verify Server Identity" for the colby.edu certificate.

7. A Server field will now appear, enter m.google.com and click Next

8. Select what you want to sync with Colby Apps Email, Mail, Contacts, and Calendars by turning each category on or off as needed. Click "Save."

9. A "Passcode Requirement" dialog box will appear. You need to set a passcode to protect access to your email now or later. If you wait to set a passode, no e-mail will be downloaded.*

10. Click Continue set your "New passcode", enter your passcode twice for verification and click OK.

Your e-mail, calendar, and contacts may take some time to download depending on how much you have.
