Connecting to a Server in OSX

  • Click Go on the Menu Bar
  • Drag down to Connect to Server

  • Type smb://servername
  • Click Connect

  • Under Workgroup/Domain type colby
  • Type your network user name and password
  • Do not check Add to Keychain
  • Click OK

  • Select a share
  • Click OK

  • Double click the share icon on the desktop to access its contents.
