Colby Domain Windows computers will automatically receive certificates through auto-enrollment. However, student or personal computers will need to follow these instructions to obtain them. To verify if you already have a Colby digital certificate installed, follow the steps below.
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Click Tools -> Options
3) In Internet Options, Click the Content Tab. Click the Certificates button in the middle of the window.
4) In the Certificates window, click the Personal Tab (default), Verify there is a file issued by Colby College ITS with your name. If so, certificates were installed properly. If you need to install certificates, click here for instructions.
