The Colby College Emergency Medicine Update course is intended to provide
practical, up-to-date information for practicing physicians with the goal of
improving patient care. Evidence based medical concepts will be presented in a
learning environment that encourages student participation and the sharing of
information. Audience response system technology will be incorporated into the
lectures to facilitate learning and to help solicit opposing and contributing
views from participants.
This year's programs will focus each day on one of four subject areas TBD
Learning will be reinforced using a wireless hand held audience based
response system to help gauge participants' understandding and comprehension of
the information presented. Come join us this summer at Colby College in

Room and Board
All meals and lodging are available at the College for an additional $285, a fee
that also covers campus recreational facilities and the lobster bake. Charges
for family members, covering all of the above except seminar tuition, are as
