Hope, Education, Opportunity:  Using Education to Combat Poverty and Inequality in Guatemala City

We will be showing "Manos de Madre," a 30-minute documentary about Safe Passage/Camino Seguro, an NGO in Guatemala City that works to provide education to children and families living near Guatemala City Garbage dump.  After the documentary, we will have a panel discussion with myself, Annie Bacher, Ellicott Dandy, and a representative from Safe Passage to talk more about the organization and answer questions.
