Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory
Any elective course may be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. (A grade of C- must be achieved to get a satisfactory.) Sometimes students may take a course in the major for satisfactory/unsatisfactory credit, but regulations vary among departments. Students should be aware of the requirements of their own major departments. No College distribution requirements may be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis.

The satisfactory/unsatisfactory option is possible only through the use of the proper forms and signatures, available at the Office of the Registrar.
