Cotter Union, 2nd floor
The pace of life at Colby can be brisk, with a host of clubs, activities, and social and cultural events that keep schedules full and allow students to share a common cause or interest together. The Office of Campus Life oversees more than 110 active student clubs and organizations, works with the Student Government Association and Student Programming Board, and organizes Colby Outdoor Orientation Trips (COOT2).
Kim Kenniston, associate director of campus life (Cotter Union, 2nd floor, 207-859-4287, firstname.lastname@example.org), oversees the College's housing operations - pairing and placing the first-year students, serving as a liaison to PPD on residence hall maintenance issues, and manages the dorm damage records.
Nicole Magnan Caruso associate director of campus life and director of outdoor education (Cotter Union, 2nd floor, 207-859-4284, email@example.com), directs the COOT2 program including coordinating trips, itineraries, COOT2 leader interviews, selection, and training. Nicole also assists with the Colby Outing Club, Colby Mountaineering Club, outdoor leadership training, club sports, and outdoor risk management. She also works with the Colby Climbing Wall and the Colby-Hume Center.
Katrina Danby, assistant directior of campus life (Cotter Union, 2nd floor, 207-859-4286, firstname.lastname@example.org) is primarily responsible for managing the hall staff and their hall programs.
Shannon Hodgdon, secretary (Cotter Union, 2nd floor, 207-859-4280, email@example.com), serves as the secretary for the Office of Campus Life. She assists with questions related to SGA, SPB, orientation, clubs, campus events, and more. If she doesn’t have the information students need, she’ll help them find someone who does. She also coordinates the January Inspirations program.
