- Women, men, and people of all gender and sexual identities can be victims of sexual assault, harassment and/or other sexual misconduct
- Women, men, and people of all gender and sexual identities can be perpetrators of sexual assault, harassment and/or other sexual misconduct
- Sexual assault, harassment and/or other sexual misconduct can occur in both heterosexual and same-sex relationships.
- Active, mutual consent is an essential component to legal sexual contact between individuals.
- Consent may be withdrawn by either party at any time prior to or during sexual contact.
- Alcohol and drugs impair judgment, compromise clear communication, and your ability to give or receive consent.
- Colby policies prohibit sexual assault, harassment, and other sexual misconduct and offer personal and medical support as well as guidance and disciplinary recourse for victims.
