T-shirts, etc.

Many student groups choose to purchase mugs, t-shirts, hats, etc. to raise money for an activity or an event. For printing recommendations, please stop by the Student Activities Office. We have dozens of magazines that contain hundreds of promotional ideas, ranging from inscribed pens and pencils to caribiners, hats, jackets and more.

T-shirts can be a great way of financing an activity, or they can be an overall bad decision. Some clubs overestimate a t-shirt's appeal, or their ability to sell them, and as a result have a stock-pile of unused, outdated, unsold, and apparently unpopular t-shirts.

USE CAUTION when ordering t-shirts. It is wise NOT to order more than 100 at a time, unless you have had students pre-pay and pre-order the shirts. Also remember that you cannot use college funds to publicize with alcohol or insult other schools.
