Apply for financial aid by submitting:

  • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
    Colby’s FAFSA code number is 002039. The FAFSA is the only form required to apply for federal grants and loans.
  • College Board CSS Profile
    Colby’s CSS code number is 3280. The CSS Profile is only required for determining eligibility for institutional funds.
  • If your parents are divorced, separated, or were never married, please submit the Noncustodial PROFILE.
  • If your parents are self-employed or own a farm, please submit the College Board Business and Farm Supplement.
  • Parents’ and students’ 2014 income tax returns with all pages, schedules, and W-2’s. These tax documents should be sent via the College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) by March 4. Application materials received after the deadline will be processed without penalty.
  • Early Decision Candidates Only: Please submit (directly to Colby) parents’ and students’ 2014 income tax returns with all pages, schedules, and W-2’s by Nov. 15 for ED I and by Jan. 1 for ED II.
