If you’re considering applying to Colby but don’t think you can afford to be here, we encourage you to apply (for both admission and financial aid) and review your aid package before making a final decision. We believe no qualified student should miss out on a great education, and we have a number of institutional commitments in place to help make your Colby education affordable:

  • We meet 100 percent of need as determined by the college for all admitted students.
  • We do not include loans in our financial aid packages.
  • Financial aid is portable to qualified study abroad programs.
  • We waive application fees for students who submit their applications online.
  • We offer financial guidance for all students, regardless of family income level.
