C Club Person of Year Award

This award is presented annually at Homecoming Weekend to a member (or members) of the Colby family, not necessarily alumni, who have shown dedication and support to Colby athletics by his/her/their service to the College and particularly to athletics at the College.

The recipients are determined by the officers of the Colby C Club, in consultation with the athletic department and the Office of Alumni Relations. Final selection is made at the June meeting of the Athletic Committee of the Alumni Council. The award currently is a clock, with an engraved plaque, and a citation.

The C Club Person of the Year Award was presented to longtime men's basketball coach Dick Whitmore at the Ludy '21 and Pacy Levine '27 Memorial Reception and C Club Dinner Oct. 28, 2011.
