About the Awards The Marjorie D. Bither Award is given to a senior female student/athlete who has demonstrated outstanding athletic ability, leadership, and academic accomplishment. The Donald P. Lake Award is given to a senior male student/athlete who has demonstrated outstanding athletic ability, leadership, and academic accomplishment. The Norman White Award is given to a male student/athlete for inspirational leadership and sportsmanship. The Pamela Hoyt Sanborn Award is given to a female student/athlete for inspirational leadership and sportsmanship. The Warren J. Finegan Award is given to a senior for significant behind-the-scenes contributions to the success of Colby athletics. The E.W. Millett Award is presented to one male and one female who in his or her four years as an undergraduate contributed the most to athletics at Colby. 2010 Senior Athlete Award Recipients Marjorie D.
