The Alumni Council

Jessica D'Ercole Stanton '92Dear Fellow Colby Alumni/ae,

I can’t begin to tell you how honored and pleased I am to begin my term as chair of Colby’s Alumni Council. I strongly believe that Colby is at a pivotal point in its history and is experiencing its greatest need for dedicated alumni volunteers. Fortunately, Colby’s Alumni Council comprises a group of committed alumni/ae volunteers who work tirelessly to advance the council’s mission of “strengthening relations between the College and its alumni and promoting fellowship and pride of affiliation among Colby alumni.”

I hope you feel, as I do, that Colby is an exceptional place. It was an important part of my life and as such deserves my unfailing appreciation and support. I hope you will join me in making a commitment to Colby this year, both through your financial support and by giving of your time to the College’s many varied volunteer needs. Whether you can offer an internship, mentor a Colby student, help with employment, offer assistance as an alumni interviewer, become a Colby Fund volunteer, or simply attend one of Colby’s many on-campus or regional events, your involvement and participation are crucial to Colby’s continued success.

I always look forward to hearing from my fellow alumni/ae. You may contact me at jdstanton@alum.colby.edu
