Colby Book Prize

Awarded annually to high school juniors at their school awards assembly, this prize is awarded for academic achievement and good school citizenship. There are approximately 100 schools, from Maine to Hawaii, participating in the Colby Book Prize program at this time and about 50 alumni presenters/sponsors.

The recipient is selected by a member of the high school staff, such as a guidance counselor.

The award is a book with a Colby or Maine connection, and a bookplate is placed on the inside front cover.
